My school's kindergarten and first grade is taking a trip to our local zoo on Wednesday aka TOMORROW. Hooray! I created this scavenger hunt to share with teacher coming on our trip. I thought this could be helpful for anyone who is taking a zoo field trip so I thought I'd share with my blogger friends too :-) I was originally inspired by
this post from
I Can Teach My Child. You can find her full page Zoo Scavenger Hunt
here. My lanyard half sheet
Zoo Scavenger Hunt can be found by following this
link. I purposely put punched holes at the bottom of each page so students can cross off the animals as we find them without taking the list off their necks.
I'm planning to take some photos tomorrow, so I'll be sure to share!
What a great idea! Wish I'd done something like this last week when we went. =)

I've never been on a field trip to the zoo with any of my classes. Hopefully the scavenger hunt will go over well! I'll definitely post about the trip :-)
ReplyDeleteI love this! We go to the zoo in first grade but I'm not a big fan of the Knoxville zoo. In fact, I don't really want to ever go back because they are difficult to work with. I love the Nashville Zoo on the other hand. Hope you guys had fun.
